How to create a new BCDC meeting in the Kentico calendar

Duplicate the previous month's meetings and edit

  1. Check to see whether day folders already exist for the designated dates of the upcoming BCDC meetings.
  2. If a folder for a specific date does not yet exist, right-click on the parent month and select "New" then select "BRA - Event Day."
  3. Type in the day in 00 format in the "Document name:" field, then click "Save", "Submit for Approval", and "Publish."
  4. Go to the previous month and locate the Monthly Meeting.
  5. Right-click on the title of the event and select "Copy."
  6. In the pop-up that appears, navigate to the date folder for the new event and click on it to select, so that the correct date appears following "Target location."
  7. Click "Copy."
  8. You will be taken to the new event.
  9. If you already have a new Monthly Meeting agenda, you can simply edit the table with the correct information.
  10. If you do not yet have an agenda, follow the steps below to hide the table for the time being.
    1. In the Form tab, click anywhere inside the "Event description" box and then click "Source."
    2. In the code, before "The agenda is as follows..." type in "Agenda to follow.<!--"
    3. Scroll down to the bottom of the code, and at the very end, type in "-->" This will hide the agenda.
  11. Scroll down to "Start date" and update the start and end dates and times, if applicable.
  12. Click Save, Submit for approval, and Publish.

You can follow these same steps for all the following meetings. It is easiest to first copy the Monthly Meeting to the new date, then copy one of the Design Committee meetings to one of the respective new dates, then use that new Design Committee meeting as a template for the subsequent Design Committee dates.

Associate projects

Once the agenda is finalized, you can associate all the related projects to the calendar event.

  1. In the Form tab, scroll down to "Relationships."
  2. Click "Add related document."
  3. In the pop-up that appears, click the blue "Select document" button.
  4. Open the Development folder and click on Development Projects.
  5. Wait for the list of Development projects to populate in the middle pane, then type a search term into the "Name" field and click "Search."
  6. Click on the name of the desired project, and wait for it to appear in the "Selected document" field.
  7. Click the green "Select" button.
  8. Click the green "Save" button.
  9. Repeat these steps as necessary for each related project. Once all projects are associated, click Save, Submit for approval, and Publish.
