Uploading BCDC Minutes

  1. In Kentico, navigate to Document Center > Planning > Boston Civic Design Commission
  2. Open the appropriate year folder, then the "Minutes" folder
  3. Right-click on "Minutes", and select "New"
  4. Click on "BRA - Document"
  5. Fill in the "File name" in this format: BCDC Minutes YYYY-MM-DD
  6. Upload the file from your desktop or other location by clicking the "Upload file" link
  7. Scroll down and enter the date of the BCDC Meeting in the Document date field
  8. Scroll back up, and click "Save"
  9. Click on the Properties tab
  10. Click on the "Categories" tab on the left hand menu, which is the fifth tab from the top of the list
  11. Click the blue "Add categories" button
  12. Open "BRA-Document Type", then open "Meeting" and select the box next to "Meeting Minutes"
  13. Close "BRA-Document Type"
  14. Open "BRA-Department", open "Planning", then "Urban Design", and select the box next to "Design Review"
  15. Click the green "OK" button
  16. Click the "Related docs" tab on the left hand menu, which is the fourth tab from the bottom of the list
  17. Click "Add related document"
  18. Click the blue "Select document" button
  19. In the new modal window which appears, navigate to News & Calendar > Calendar and the to the year and month and day folder which contains the BCDC event you wish to associate
  20. Once you have located your specific event, click on its title
  21. The title will appear in the "Selected document" field. Click the green "Select" button
  22. The modal window will close. IMPORTANT: Now click the blue "Switch sides" button
  23. Click "Save"
  24. Go back to the Form tab, and Save, Submit for Approval, and Publish.
