Uploading BCDC Votes

  1. In Kentico, navigate to Document Center > Planning > Boston Civic Design Commission
  2. Open the appropriate year folder, then the "Votes" folder
  3. Right-click on "Votes", and select "New"
  4. Click on "BRA - Document"
  5. Fill in the "File name" in this format: PROJECT NAME BCDC Votes YYYY-MM-DD
  6. Upload the file from your desktop or other location by clicking the "Upload file" link
  7. In the "Related Projects" box, find the associated project by clicking inside the list and beginning to type the project name
  8. Scroll down and select the associated Neighborhood
  9. Enter the date of the BCDC Meeting in the Document date field
  10. Scroll back up, and click "Save"
  11. Click on the Properties tab
  12. Click on the "Categories" tab on the left hand menu, which is the fifth tab from the top of the list
  13. Click the blue "Add categories" button
  14. Open "BRA-Document Type", then open "Meeting" and select the box next to "Votes"
  15. Close "BRA-Document Type"
  16. Open "BRA-Department" and select the box next to "Development Projects"
  17. Click the green "OK" button
  18. Click the "Related docs" tab on the left hand menu, which is the fourth tab from the bottom of the list
  19. Click "Add related document"
  20. Click the blue "Select document" button
  21. In the new modal window which appears, navigate to News & Calendar > Calendar and the to the year and month and day folder which contains the BCDC event you wish to associate
  22. Once you have located your specific event, click on its title
  23. The title will appear in the "Selected document" field. Click the green "Select" button
  24. The modal window will close. IMPORTANT: Now click the blue "Switch sides" button
  25. Click "Save"
  26. Go back to the Form tab, and Save, Submit for Approval, and Publish.
