When a password is established it must be at least six (6) characters in length and must contain a combination of letters(upper and lower case), numbers, and/or symbols. A valid password must contain at least three of the following components:
- Upper Case Letters
- Lower Case Letters
- Numbers
- Symbols
Although this may seem burdensome, we all have various numbers, letters and characters that are easy for us to remember. The last 4 digits of a social security number, the first 3 numbers, or last 4 numbers of a home phone number, the pin number associated with an ATM card, etc.
