What are “Distribution Lists?”

Distribution lists are created if there is a team capable of responding to the same inbound inquiry. This is not intended to hide, obfuscate, or misinform the sender of who they are sending an email to. Example: When an email is received at one address, it would be distributed to several email addresses on that list.
