Who is responsible for IT Resources?

The IT Helpdesk tracks reservations at all times. You are responsible for all of the equipment and resources that you take out. You are in charge of the physical security of the item while it is on your person. If you lose said equipment you will be held responsible for replacing the lost items.

If an item is lost, it should be reported immediately to the IT Helpdesk.

If an employee is negligent with returning said resource in an appropriate timeframe, they may be subject to a written reprimand to be included in their personnel file.

Users suspected of violating this policy may be temporarily denied access to said resources. Any serious alleged abuse or theft may also be subject to prosecution by state and federal authorities.
